Has anyone bought/installed/seen the mini-electronic tach that Highway Hawk sells ? It looks good, well sized for the Savage, and goes to 8K RPM which would perfect for our motors. I've generally liked shifting by "feel" and engine sound, but a tach would be a good addition to my bike, and the price is reasonable, about $95 with shipping. The only thing I found out when I was searching for these meters last year was a workable tach depended upon the "shape" of the electronic signals which the tach uses to measure the pulse to give an accurate readout. Does anyone know about this stuff ?
